The objectives of Unnayan Uddog are as follows:
To organize disadvantaged section, particularly the women and children so that they could
be empowered and worthy citizen;
To create public awareness about child rights (UNCRC) and eliminate child labour ensuring
better future for them;
To promote eco-friendly agricultural technology;
To create self-employment through promoting small enterprise;
To conduct formal and non-formal education programme in achieving MDGs in education
sector;
To work for solving the housing problem of the poor;
To undertake relief and rehabilitation programme for old, disabled and victims of natural
calamities;
To work for reducing population explosion;
To undertake programme for primary and reproductive health care and prevention of
HIV/AIDS;
To promote awareness for creating social forestry in order to protect environment;
To provide support to the deprived section, such as indigenous population and minority
community, etc. of the society;
To undertake skills development training for human resource development; and
To undertake development research for policy development.
